Macarons served in a bamboo basket?
This is my first time seeing an assortment of macarons served in a round
shaped steamer made from bamboo aka mushiki. If anyone interested in
trying the asian style macarons you should definitely go check out this
authentic Cantonese restaurant, Hakkasan located in Midtown west. They
served great well mixed cocktails and yummy Cantonese cuisines. It is a
bit dark inside but very romantic setting with modern Asian wall
interior decoration. There are total of 7 macarons in the bamboo basket
but it would be cool if they can do 7 different colors just like a
rainbow;)

Quick 15-20 min dinner recipe
Anyone looking to make a simple, quick and yummy dinner?
I made a Chinese/American fusion noodle dish for dinner tonight.
Ingredients:
-chinese egg noodles (from hong kong market)
-olive oil
-shrimps
-seafood cocktail sauce
-siracha sauce
-salt, pepper and ginger powder
-Vegetable blend (frozen veggies from Trader's Joe)
1. Boil some hot water in a pot. When the water is ready, put some salt before adding the egg noodles.
2. Stir the egg noodles until it gets pliable.
3. While waiting for the noodles to be ready, prepare and defrost some frozen vegetable blends and shrimps by soaking into hot water.
4. Seasoned the toppings (shrimps & veggies) with salt, pepper, ginger powder, seafood cocktail sauce and a little siracha sauce then mixed it up with a spoon or knife.
5. Heat up the toppings in the microwave and while you're waiting it's time to take the egg noodles out from the pot.
6. Finally you take the toppings out from the microwave and pour it on the egg noodles. Now you can eat:p
