Yakinku Don

In Japanese, yakinku don means grilled meat. It usually served in a bite size and topped with a special soy sauce. My favorite spot for Yakinku Don is Sharaku, a japanese restaurant located in the village. I was referred from one of my friends who used to work there. The entree came with a choice of salad or miso soup. The meat was tender and juicy.

Zucchini Fritte

I absolutely love zucchini fries! Cabrera Italian Grill has the best zucchini fries that you should definitely check it out. We ordered this an appetizer dish and the portion was quite big. So I would definitely suggested to order this as a shareable plate. This aperitivo served with garlic aioli on the side.

Hotdogs (asian style)

Are you sick of eating regular hotdogs with buns? Asia Dog can spice it up for you;) They are known for their exotic hotdogs with a variety of Asian toppings available to choose from. They served mainly beef, chicken, and veggie dogs. My friends and I have tried the Vinh (vietnamese style dog), the Ginny (kimchi & seaweed toppings), and ITO (japanese curry & kimchi apples). The hotdogs tasted so good and we would love to grab and eat some more lol
Asia Dog's main location is in downtown but unfortunately they already closed down so whoever is looking for some exotic hotdogs check out the one in Urbanspace Vanderbilt.

Lancashire Hotpot

Let's try a new version of hotpot..Lancashire Hotpot! It is a traditional dish in Lancashire, England that made from lamb, onion and topped with a potato galette. You can get this exotic dish in The Shakespeare located in the Peacock hotel in midtown east. It is definitely mouthwatering as soon as you see it;)

Kimchi Cheese Fries

Great bites for happy hour if you like something savory and light. Gyu-Kaku, a japanese bbq place located in midtown offered a great happy hour deal for groups. They served great japanese food and drinks for very reasonable price. One of their newest appetizer dishes is the kimchi cheese fries. My friend and I love the fries...very cheesy with a kick to it.

Malaysian Dessert

Looking for an authentic Malaysian restaurant in Boston? Check out Penang, a nice and casual Malaysian eatery located right in the heart of Chinatown, Boston. They have a big menu with a variety of choices ad the price range is not expensive at all. I have tried their ABC dessert (air batu champir) meaning mixed ice in Malaysian. The dessert is made out of coconut milk, jelly, red beans, shaved ice, ice cream and evaporated milk.
