There is a very popular bubble tea place in the city called Vivi Bubble Tea. The closest one near me is on 43rd St/9th avenue (the newest location opened since Sept, 2014). For those who are not familiar with bubble/boboa tea, it is basically a drink with tapioca pearls in it. The pearls are chewy and it has almost no flavor. I know most people are always concerned about those little black dots in the drink and some of you guys may even think it's weird. But everybody has their first time of trying it. You either love it or hate it. But of course, if you are not a big fan of the boboa (tapioca pearl) you can always request one without it. In general, the original boboa drink is made with tea and milk=milk tea. Then they started to do tea with fruit flavors or even smoothie only made with fresh fruits. It depends on the place you go. Vivi Bubble Tea sells the regular milk tea, tea with fruit flavors and some appetizers such as taiwanese bbq sausage, popcorn chicken, ramen and sushi. I recalled I went to another location and they even sell macarons...（＊〇□〇）……！ My favorite bubble tea flavors are passion fruit, honeydew and lychee.
